Jul 30, 2024 · I was able to add ZigBee actuators again with the EU Hub. But China WiFi devices, especially the Mi bulbs, can no longer be added. As a test, I was able to register them again via a hotspot with a Chinese VPN. With the same SSID and password for the home WiFi. Conclusion: It is definitely the China/EU servers and therefore Xiaomi's fault!

So china, global and eea are official ROMs, if the bl is unlocked and you cross flash things won't work, china ROM also is the same as gapos can be flashed and Google stuff works fine. Most custom ROMs with an unlocked bl won't work but with Xiaomi.eu (custom ROM) everything works as normal with the bl unlocked.

Thanks for the help. you wont be able to unlock bootloader unless you do a survey and are level 5 in xiaomi community or you use the paid bootloader unlock methods.
Feb 1, 2024 · Maybe you don't have that option because you are using an older version of the app than "Xiaomi Community 5.3.31". Download this version. download Xiaomi Community 5.3.31 or newer > change region in app to Global > log in to your Xiaomi Account > click Unlock bootloader > click Apply for unlocking permissions > that's all.
