My trusty old Xiaomi Vacuum (first model without any number like s1, its just Xiaomi vacuum) still works like a charm, but i havent updated it since zone cleaning came in an update. Im on 3.3.9_003452. Latest firmware available is 3.5.8_004028. So 2 minor revisions in between 3.3 to 3.5.
Xiaomi robot vacuum is in my price range. Based on this thread I guess it is a safe option. We only have a hard floor (timber & tiles). I found the Xiaomi Viomi V2 and the Xiaomi Mijia sweep and mop robot G1 listed on eBay at my price range. The G1 seems to have a higher suction power 2200Pa.
Jul 17, 2016 · Absolutely agreed. The robot vacuum cleaners absolutely hate cords. We basically spent a good afternoon performing cable management and making the house "robot friendly" before we let ours run for the first time. My only remaining problem is that the Xiaomi has problems climbing over the raised bathroom tiles.

May 1, 2017 · Wenn der Roboter an die Ladestation geht, wechselt er binnen weniger als eine Sekunde zwischen "charging" und "sleeping", kann also offenbar nicht richtig laden. Nachdem er ca. 5-10 mal "charging" gerufen hat versucht er etwas Abstand zu der Docking Station zu gewinnen und dockt neu an. Meistens ohne Erfolg.
Jan 25, 2017 · ich habe ein Problem mit meinem 3 Wochen alten Xiaomi Saugroboter. Nachdem sich das gute Stück unter einer Treppe am LDS festgeklemmt hat, funktioniert er nicht mehr und zeigt mir ca 2sec. nach dem Start und ersten paar "Saugmeter" eine Fehlermeldung am LDS Kopf an. Er geht bleibt dann stehen und blinkt (rot).
