I figured as much but it still made me sad to hear him confirm it out loud.
Aug 2, 2019 · The fact that the highest ranked Gervais episode is 48 has angered me beyond belief. All 3 of his episodes are in my top 10, if not the Top 3. This list is a joke (and not in good/funny way). I haven't seen them all yet, but I have to say the one that surprised me the most with how much I laughed was Joel Hodgson.
Mar 17, 2018 · 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' 5 minutes in, what a mess The reason these type of shows are popular is the slow paced feel, the air, the personality that is allowed to naturally seep out. The faux Top Gear intro which I believe was meant to be a parody, the fast paced shit jazz music all over the show, the quick editing, the shots cutting every second.
I don't think the new season is laugh-out-loud funny, but I don't think that was ever the point of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It's a relaxing show to dip in and out of, with flashes of excitement. Like a lot of the commenters here say, the show is always best taken in sips.

Nov 20, 2014 · Don't know if it was a ginger joke and more of a stab at both of them being car guys but Bill is driving around in a Toyota Prius which is the very antithesis of what a car guy wants in a car. Yeah, you're probably right. But damn, does Jerry have the gift of coincidentally being hilarious.
Jun 5, 2022 · I'm a huge fan of Jerry's show after 'Seinfeld,' 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.' In the several years he did the show, he had on Michael Richards, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Larry David, as well as some of the guest stars that occasionally made appearances on 'Seinfeld.'
Its a tragedy that Conan was never on 'Comedians in Cars getting Coffee'. I'm assuming there's some awkward bad blood between the 2 after the Jay Leno controversy in 09. I don't think Jerry was ever on Conan's TBS show either. Jerry was always on Jay’s side during the tonight show stuff.
