Jun 11, 2016 · In regards to the first four books, I really enjoyed the adventurous feel of it, with new discoveries each book, and some very interesting and captivating settings and scenes - such as Harry meeting Quirrell drinking unicorn blood in the Forbidden Forest, the Chamber of Secrets etc. Hogwarts is probably the best fictional location.

It's a pretty common feeling among Potter fans that the first three books of Harry Potter were the best of the series, and significantly different in kind to the later books. Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban established and followed the "Potter formula" which I think worked very well.

Aug 19, 2014 · 1. Chamber of Secrets 2. Philosopher's Stone 3-7. All the others Chamber of Secrets was the height of this series. Harry Potter, at 12 years old, killed a 50 foot snake with a sword. Recognise. After this, the entire series got derailed because Harry was no longer allowed to progress as a hero, but instead became emo as fuck.

Nov 4, 2015 · With respect to the latest chapter, Harry's decision feels a bit odd. What is the actual value of the Chamber of Secrets, absent the portrait of Slytherin? It's just a big empty room, useful for practising spells and getting some privacy, but Hogwarts is full of spare rooms. Not to mention Harry also has the Room of Requirement.
