Jan 28, 2023 · Go to Last.fm and log in. Hover over your profile image in the top-right. Click Settings. Click Applications. Click Connect, next to Spotify Scrobbling. Continue to allow access to your Spotify account. To Disconnect. Follow the steps above only this time choose Disconnect next to Spotify Scrobbling and remove access to the app as described here.

It can be a confusing site, as Last.fm does a lot of different things related to music (some things better than others), and different people value different aspects of it (e.g. social, recommendations, stats & charts, personalised radio, events, etc). I'd say start slowly and try not to be put off by jargon like 'scrobbling'.
Mar 29, 2022 · You can't. Afaik the Spotify API only allows you to check the last ~50 or so songs you listened to. And last.fm itself only allows you to add scrobbles dating back 2 weeks maximum. So you can't add your old, say Apple Music, data with correct dates (though some people add all that to day 1). It won’t let me import my Spotify playlist to last.fm.

The usual fix when the web API connection loses sync between your Last.fm and your Spotify account is to disconnect and reconnect Spotify scrobbling in your connected Last.fm apps settings, sometimes also trying several times with pauses in-between.
Jan 15, 2023 · I used to do it when I scrobbled music from Apple Music on android before the official Last.fm app was released. However, when I try now using the 'Scan' option in the Last.fm app on my iPad after listening to music on the new Apple Music app for Windows 11, it does not recognize the songs I have listened to :/
Feb 26, 2023 · If you're on iOS, you'll also need to enable "Use Listening History" (this is an Apple Music setting which you can enable by navigating to Settings > Music). Depending on your set-up, there are some third-party (paid) apps that can also scrobble non-library tracks: MacOS: NepTunes. iOS: Marvis Pro & QuietScrob.
Dec 4, 2019 · Open Scrobbler can also search and scrobble from the Last.fm catalogue. Universal Scrobbler does have a CSV tool but more tricky tools like that are, again, available for free via Scrubbler. Universal Scrobbler basically did a great job many years ago, but the fact it isn't free now when other tools are makes it obsolete at this point.
Oct 10, 2020 · There's no way to directly connect the Amazon Music app to Last.fm, but if you download a scrobbler app (such as the official last.fm app or any alternative that supports it), you can scrobble Amazon Music through it.
