And although for grades 5+, Turing House has best result in the borough this year, for grade 7-9 Teddington School has slightly better results than Turing House.
Oct 5, 2016 · It's a different experience - very small, opened a few years ago, and currently without many facilities, but planning to move to a purpose built site in Whitton in 2021, which is a couple of miles away, but on the 481 bus route from Teddington. I know families at that school too, and they're very happy. Thanks. Add post.

Am considering secondary school choices - any feedback from parents with children recently/currently at Teddington School/Turing House would be appreciated. many thanks. I don't have direct experience - my dd starts at Teddington this year - but I have a lot of friends with children there.

Having been fairly set on Coombe Girls, we looked around Teddington and were impressed. We would be really grateful for some feedback from any of you with children at Teddington.
Sep 11, 2018 · Teddington School also has great facilities, but the headteacher (the new one) seemed - well, average, or maybe she isn't an inspirational speaker. Both schools seem to have great extracurricular options. Grey Court is more science, maths, computing oriented, Teddington School has no specialism.
Oct 12, 2010 · If it is St John The Baptist school in Hampton Wick then it is a linked school and you should get in. KT1 is a wide postal area and takes in both Kingston and Hampton Wick, and they are sometimes lumped together because of it- despite being in different boroughs (gotta love the Royal Mail).
Apr 18, 2023 · Also do be aware of the massive amount of tutoring that takes place out of school in the autumn term of year 6 for the private school entrance exams - this is the same in all primary schools in the borough. Teddington is a great place to live and bring up dc, all the schools in the area are regarded as excellent.

May 20, 2024 · Hi Mums, I am moving to London in a month with 2 daughters, 8 and 12 yo and I am trying to choose from below: Grey Court School - Ham. Orleans Park School - Twickenham. Teddington School - Teddington. My rental budget is £2500-3000 pcm. I will find the best primary possible around the above secondary schools for my little one.
Mar 4, 2023 · Teddington seems to have been very popular this year - TKA less so. my Recollection is that they were set for maths, English, languages and sciences in y7. History, geography, re, drama, art, music etc were mixed ability. Lots of movement between sets so no worries about your child stuck in the wrong set.
