Enroll 24/7/365 by following these steps: 1. Create a secure UNHS Store account: Provide student and proctor information, select courses and check out with payment. 2. Purchase textbooks and materials online through the UNHS Bookstore. 3. Check student email for log-in credentials (allow 1-2 business days).
Students must successfully complete State of Nebraska diploma requirements including at least five courses with UNHS to be eligible for our diploma. Diploma-bound students of UNHS should use the school code 281316 on all entrance examinations, college applications, and registration with the NCAA.
Established in 1929, the University of Nebraska High School has delivered high school courses to students around the world for more than 95 years (1929-2024). During this time UNHS has become an internationally recognized leader in distance education, working with schools and students in all 50 U.S. states and more than 100 countries.
Each 5 credit hour (one semester) course is designed to be completed in approximately 80-90 hours of study. Below is a schedule that may be helpful for completing a course in 18 weeks. Students may choose to accelerate or decelerate this pace depending on their schedule and learning needs.
Students enrolled with the University of Nebraska High School receive access to Theorem, the UNHS learning management system, where they submit assignments and assessments, check grades and access their online course (s).
