The character's integrity was already compromised (which is why Al Corley wanted out) and it continued with the re-casting with Jack Coleman. People say Coleman was a nice guy and he grew into a decent-enough actor after DYNASTY.

  7. Aug 19, 2023 · Al Corley and Pamela Sue Martin are the obvious ones. Both disliked the way that their characters were written in Season 2 (Steven) and Season 4 (Fallon) respectively. Kate O'Mara wanted to play the Rani again in Doctor Who rather than continuing on with Caress.

  8. Apr 1, 2018 · Al Corley’s departure hurt season 3 and beyond. Catherine’s departure in my opinion did nothing either way, her character served its purpose and as perfectly casted as Amanda was she was one child too many and she was only invented to replace Pamela Sue.

Emma Samms was mostly on The Colbys from 1985-1987. I think a lot of damage was done to Dynasty when Catherine Oxenberg was fired or quit.
