Mar 6, 2024 · I like Eloise the best - am clearly biased but I find it Frenchy chic, commanding but also very pretty and sprightly. I’m not a fan of Ellie at all but with Eloise you can also shorten to Elle, Elo, Essie, Lulu, Lois and even Elsie - so you can get a two in one there. Elise is very elegant and self-assured.

But–if [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Nell[/name_f] works, there’s really no real reason [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Nell[/name_f] doesn’t.
