Mokhzani bin Tun Dr. Mahathir (born 2 January 1961) is a Malaysian businessman. He worked as a petroleum engineer before founding oil-equipment fabricator Kencana Petroleum. Kencana Petroleum later merged with SapuraCrest to form SapuraKencana Petroleum.
Mokhzani Mahathir is the son of former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and a self-made billionaire in the oil and gas industry. He founded Kencana Petroleum and SapuraKencana Petroleum, and is also involved in racing and charity.
