Oct 29, 2021 · ADMIN MOD. Just Re-Watched “The Nice Guys”. Discussion. Such a great movie, I don’t think it got the full attention it deserved. The chemistry between Crowe and Gossling is electric. Shane Black’s background in the buddy cop genre obviously gives him an edge here, but it shows that his approach to the genre has matured.
Aug 17, 2023 · Being nice is the bare minimum, you also have to be INTERESTING. "Nice" isn't a personality, it's the base level of competence needed for civil human interaction. Women prefer nice guys, that are interesting. Failing that, they'll go for ass holes that are interesting. Guys who are nice, and only nice, don't even show up on the radar.

Yes, because they make sure you finish first. "nice" usually means unassertive, timid, and possibly low self-esteem. those guys really do finish last when it come to women. Yes, "nice guys" finish last. Most women find aggression appealing. Many nice guys equate aggression with being an asshole.
