Jul 16, 2020 · When you tell people you are from Witham, quite often the response is that they've 'never heard of it' - even from other Essex locals. But for those that don't know, it is a small town located just off the A12 between Colchester and Chelmsford.
Witham is a small town that'd take no more than 1½ hours to walk end to end. Most places are easily accessible by foot with a picturesque River Walk running bisecting the town from the Powers Hall/Rickstones border through to Maldon Road.
