Feb 13, 2016 · The DigiOne Signature requires two power supplies: one for RPi and one for the Digione Signature. I powered the RPI with the supplied switching supply from Allo and used my sbooster linear power supply for the "clean" power. Both inputs are UBC-C connectors. In comparison, the DIYINHK DXIO PRO3Z is a USB to S/PDIF converter.
Nov 27, 2018 · The Digione is connected directly to my AVR (and its DAC) by SPDIF/Coax. It seemed to have a positive effect on the sound, particularly at low volume levels, if that makes any sense. I randomly hear "new" instrumentation in familiar tracks. Or maybe it's upgrade bias.

I understand that the PecanPi does not have any digital output and that it becomes my DAC, replacing the Parasound as the DAC. b) How does the PecanPi as a DAC compare to the Parasound?

Nov 27, 2018 · I have an RPi with Allo DigiOne Sig board (running MoOde, formerly Volumio). It is connected to a DAC over SPIDF (RCA connector), and the DAC sees 192/24 when I am playing Qobuz content at that resolution. I use Linn Kazoo iOS app as my OpenHome control point and am really happy with this setup.

My current 2 channel domestic setup consists of 2 x KH80's and 1 x KH750 with my source an etherneted RPI 4/Allo Digione Hat running Volumio going BNC out directly into the KH750 for it to do its DSP magic in conjunction with the KH80's.
