Dec 23, 2019 · I am having the same issue. I don't even use VMWare Workstation Pro, Player, or any other VMWare product. I might have played with it years ago, but certainly not recently and I havent had any Windows 10 update problems until recently.

Often there is an uninstalled application located within the program files for the app. If you navigate to C:/Program Files using file explorer and locate the VMWare folder, such an application may be located in there, and allow you to uninstall.
