  2. Hi Ive recently got given an offer from Warwick university for a 4 year physics degree. I really didn't expect the offer so don't really know anything about the university could anyone give me an insight to what it is actually like as a student at Warwick university? Such as: Hows the nightlife, is it a friendly environment, accommodation ...

  3. I put AV as my first choice but didn't get it, it's very popular. Expensive but probably worth it. Cryfield - Cryfield (where I am!!!) is pretty great. It's halls in the same way Rootes is, it's just slightly smaller and in a less-conspicuous location, but it's still really central.

  4. Aug 18, 2018 · 6 years ago. iodo345. 20. Original post by ØdeToSleep. I’ve read that Warwick is full of Oxbridge rejects and middle class snobs. I’m worried I won’t fit or might get judged as I’m from a council estate.

  5. Jan 17, 2021 · University of Warwick Accommodation 2021. A. Missy2. Claycroft: Good middle ground in terms of price and what you get however your social life will be great strongly depending on who your flatmates are. If they're not too social then you probs won't like it because parties don't happen here; it's more like flat/block kitchen parties and not ...

  6. It's esentially a Maths & Econ degree, as far as the modules say. Sorry for the late reply. I think I'd like to alter my statement to 'one of the most difficult courses', cause to be honest, it's subjective. It's the breadth of knowledge required; how the first year is essentially a maths degree combined with statistics and mathematical econ ...

  7. Warwick, the town itself, is rather nice too. If the university were in Warwick that'd be ideal, then. Absolutely incredible for things like economics. For other subjects is still very good, but if the set up (i.e. campus) is enough of a deterrent for you then it doesn't have much more than other good Russel groups uni's in my opinion.

  8. On your personal statement for accom. make sure they know exactly what you're looking for - i.e the quiet/lively crowd. If you get home at 3am every weekend usually, let them know so they can put you with the loud and sociable lot. If you want peace and quiet, let them know.

  9. Feb 11, 2022 · Warwick is a very diverse university and was named as one of the most International universities in the world (ranked 20th by Times Higher Education). Also from personal experience, in my first year, my flat was roughly half international students, half UK students, which was a great experience and pretty standard across most of my friend's flats.

  10. Right, now what I know about (having live in the area for around 13 years) in terms of social life etc. Warwick is a massive dry spot. The university itself is closer to Coventry and Leamington Spa rather than Warwick. Coventry is an absolute DIVE, its a horrible city, with poor clubbing/nights out. It is however, cheap, and some of the nights ...
