Oct 12, 2003 · The most boring co-commentator of all is actually Alan Smith, the former Arsenal striker. My favourite co-commentators are (in order): 1) Chris Kamara. 2) Gerry Armstrong (La Liga, Champions League & some Eurosport matches) 3) Andy Gray.

Aug 12, 2007 · Shearer is a legend and his analysis on the game is okay as far as I'm concerned. The point of Shearer is that he's not Mark Lawrenson. And thats just about enough. He is monotone and boring and just because he was a good footballer doesn't mean he knows anything worthwhile.

An average audience of 22.32 million TV viewers watched England's defeat by Spain in the Euors last night, according to BARB overnight figures 16.65m on BBC One, 5.67m on ITV1.

May 21, 2024 · It also sounds like Alan Shearer might just do the one England co-commentary which I think would be a bit of a shame. I hope James McFadden does more co-commentaries than just Scotland as I think he's probably better than some of the BBC TV regular co-comms.
Jun 11, 2024 · Alan Hansen Seriously ill in hospital. I've just looked at the squad stats that season, of 16 medal winners I'd say Butt, Scholes, G Neville / P Neville and Beckham were the "kids". 3 of them would also have won title medals the previous season had they overcome Blackburn.
