We heard all about the history, geology, buildings and changes over the years, flora, fauna and some fascinating tales of some of the previous inhabitants of the island and their misdemeanours!
Sep 29, 2024 · I booked the Drakes island tour, and it did not disappoint. Approximately 11am boarded the ferry to Drakes Island. Arrived at the jetty, and all made our way to the top, and greeted by the guide and his helper. Quick 15 mins on what the island was used for through the ages, then off we went into the main part of the tour.
