Ekenäs (Finland Swedish: [ˈeːkeneːs] ⓘ; Finnish: Tammisaari [ˈtɑmːisɑːri]) is a town and former municipality in Finland that comprised the former municipalities of Snappertuna and Tenala together with the town of Ekenäs.
Today, Ekenäs is a vibrant small town where shops, cafés and restaurants provide personalized service. The best places for shopping can be found on Gustav Wasas gata right by the town square, and on Kungsgatan, the first pedestrian street in Finland.
