复仇恶魔（El Diablo）是美国DC漫画旗下的反英雄，初次登场于《All-Star Western》第2卷第2期（1970年11月）。
共有三代，分别是一代拉萨路斯·莱恩（Lazarus Lane）、二代拉斐尔·桑多瓦尔（Rafael Sandoval）、三代查托·桑塔纳（Chato Santana）。
查托·桑塔纳（Chato Santana）是三代复仇恶魔（El Diablo），也是新52的复仇恶魔。他的故事不多，原先是一名帮派成员，在接受了初代复仇恶魔的传承后成为复仇恶魔，如今是自杀小队（Suicide Squad）的成员。
查托·桑塔纳最早出现在2008年的《复仇恶魔V3》中，是该系列刊物的主人公。查托原本属于一个街头帮派，是一个黑道混混，在黑帮交易时与警察发生枪战，同时又被同伙出卖，他被枪击中，送入医院治疗。
在医院里，躺在查托身边的正是初代复仇恶魔拉萨路斯·莱恩（Lazarus Lane），经历了漫长的岁月，拉萨路斯已经是风烛残年，寄宿于他的复仇恶魔转移到了查托身上，在此之后拉萨路斯去世，而查托则成为了复仇恶魔（El Diablo），接任拉萨路斯成为一名英雄。

复仇恶魔可以用地狱之火清除氰化物并控制它们，而当他爆发体内力量时，是相当强大的。
