Apr 12, 2023 · Encinitas, CA is a quintessential coastal surf town in North County San Diego, and is one of my favorite spots to visit (and to take visitors!) when I head back to my hometown. The hub of activity is along Highway 101 (basically the main street of the city of Encinitas), with plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, and more to check out.
