May 10, 2014 · Geoff started out good with Rebirth up to Sinestro but then it just falls apart and feels like fan fiction. Also, is John's "Secret Origin" the canon origin for Hal still? It came out a few years before the reboot but I wasn't sure since Geoff continued writing GL afterwards for awhile.

Hopefully, he will stay on SUPERMAN for a great while so he can build to something great. The seeds are already being planted, like the afore-mentioned mystery man.

Gary Frank as well, Geoff Johns is a very flexible writer. Ethan Van Sciver even said the artists have a lot of leeway and freedom when working with Johns.
