Neijiang (simplified Chinese: 内江; traditional Chinese: 內江; Sichuanese Pinyin: Nui 4 jiang 1; Sichuanese pronunciation: [nuei˨˩˧tɕiaŋ˥]; pinyin: Nèijiāng; Wade–Giles: Nei-chiang) is a prefecture-level city in the southeast of Sichuan province, People's Republic of China.
Aug 19, 2020 · Situated in the southeast of Sichuan Province, Neijiang is bordered by Chongqing and Chengdu to the east and west, Zigong, Yibin and Luzhou to the south, and Suining and Nanchong to the north. It is a cotton, sugarcane production area and sugar industry center.
Neijiang lies in southeast Sichuan along the mid-reaches of the Tuo River. Flanked by Chongqing, Luzhou, Zigong, and Meishan, Neijiang serves as an important cotton and sugarcane production base and sugar processing center, earning it the nickname "Sweet City".
