Public transport on Tobago is limited to a somewhat erratic and uncomfortable bus service. There is no railway or underground/subway networks on Tobago. Don't laugh! A reader did once request that I send him a map of the subway system. Buses run between Scarborough bus station and Crown Point, Buccoo, Plymouth and Roxborough.

For the past year, the Trinidad-Tobago ferry service has been virtually defunct. The situation brings great shame on the government, port authorities and everyone involved. The matter is too complex to detail here, but to all intents and purposes, there is now only a very limited ferry service and visitors are strongly advised to make alternative travel arrangements.
The Tobago Jazz Experience is Tobago's biggest annual music event and celebrates Caribbean jazz, the indigenous music of Trinidad and Tobago and new music from around the world. The Tobago Plantations area where the villa is situated was perfect. We walked to and from the golf club house 3 days in a row for a game of golf where we were able to rent clubs. I would not recommending walking with clubs (about a 10 to 15 min. walk in the heat).
