    Waukee, Iowa. Waukee is a city in Dallas County, Iowa, United States. The population was 23,940 at the time of the 2020 U.S. Census. [6] It is part of the Des Moines – West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 2017, Apple Inc. chose Waukee as the location of a massive $1.38 billion data center campus.

    • The Triangle. At the very core of downtown Waukee, in the shadow of the Heartland Cooperative grain elevator, is this sweet little park. Serving as a kind of town green, with a gazebo and three mature linden trees, The Triangle hosts community events, like the Waukee Farmers’ Market (more later) and Waukee’s summer outdoor concert series.
