Aug 22, 2024 · BBC News are reporting it was due to unsolicited text messages to a female One Show staffer. I thought he might have presented MOTD at some point. Not now! I wish they'd sacked the gobby other one with £1.3 million salary, particularly as there are quite a few competent alternatives to that one.
Aug 5, 2024 · The BBC has two 24-hour channels and a comprehensive online streaming platform. Euros Finals for Women are now I believe List A, so all games have to be on a qualifying TV channel and can't be dumped to just streaming. Wimbledon only the finals are list A so they can as now move lots of the early stuff to streaming.
May 26, 2022 · This merger of BBC News and World News will also affect the sports bulletins as they wouldn't be able to show clips of sporting events not televised by the BBC (for example, French Open Tennis, Formula 1 and various football matches), like they would if bulletins were UK only, due to the Sports News access agreement.
