Install the Raspberry Pi Imager in support of burning the image to an SD card. Start the Pi Imager. As operating system choose "Custom OS" and provide the downloaded HyperBian-XXXX package. Choose your target storage, i.e. your SD-Card. Click "Next" and select "No" for no extra customization. The HyperBian image should be written to the SD Card.

In case your LED device is not working or shows as being disabled in the Dashboard or Remote Control, check Hyperion's log for errors first!

Per Hyperion 2.0.13, the Hyperion-WLED device makes use of the Distributed Display Protocol (Requires WLED v0.11.0+). As a fall-back option the UDP-Raw protocol (limitations) is still supported, too.
