Since I am a foreigner, the broker said that my buy limit is depends on how much I put cash into my trading account (1:1 ratio), and I can only buy it using cash from the trading account.

UOB and OCBC, I think there is waiver of SRS charges, but eventually they will charge, and the charges will be similar to CPF, in which case UOB is cheaper than OCBC. May 7, 2020 · So probably OCBC Securities dun has that option, except to use a cash account with the normal trading fees. This is what you are looking for. OCBC Securities does not call it 'cash upfront' but 'cash funded' but it probably means the same thing. The commission is 0.18% flat or min S$18. So DBS Vickers is still cheaper.

May 3, 2012 · 1. High fees buy and sell, currency exchange, cheque services. 2. 15 min delay - although this might get changed according to frequency of trades. But still the fees for a delay. 2. Very quick to deduct but slow to credit. 3. Overseas currency cheques issued by Iocbc takes 8 weeks to credit into an Ocbc account.
