Mar 23, 2020 · June Bakery occupies an unassuming spot at the basement of The Plaza along Beach Road. If reviews on Burpple are anything to go by, the bakery's Cheese Tart (S$1.20) is pretty darn good.
Packed with old-school charm, June Bakery’s Orh Nee Tart ($1.30) was the real deal. Quite similar to the customary yam paste dessert at Teochew banquets (and really the one thing I look forward to most at any Chinese banquet wedding), the filling was creamy and soft.
