Jun 6, 2014 · The Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC), together with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), led a delegation of nearly 30 Singapore built environment representatives on an insightful business mission to Sydney, Australia from 16-19 October 2023.
SGBC is the owner of the SGBP and SGBS certification schemes. With these certification schemes, SGBC aims to guide product development in the building industry, make green building products and services more readily available, and create an impact to the buildings that shape our living environment.

Products and materials certified by the SGBP are highly recognised under the Green Mark Scheme, Singapore’s national green building rating tool administered by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), which allows certified products to accrue points that count towards a project’s Green Mark rating.
SGBC was officially launched on 28 October 2009 as the only non-profit organisation with a concerted private-public sector partnership to achieve a world-class and sustainable built-environment in Singapore.
