I have ridden in the 480 Easy Rider with a 75 E-TEC, and for an all round family boat, they are a great package. For alloy, they ride well, and there is plenty of room for kids, eskies, fishing gear etc. I would lean on the side of more power, and the E-TEC 75 really motored on this boat. They are a good all-rounder.
Feb 17, 2009 · Hi Timbo1 I had a Easyrider 510 ( 17ft ) and gotta be honest with the exception of the Haines V16R it was the best boat i owned.They were a well layed out boat for its size.We fished 4 adults in it no probs and a very spacious cab.I am 6ft tall and the way the floor dropped down in the cab made for good headroom unlike the stejy"s of the same era and i could also lay flat on the bunks.Handled ...
Apr 3, 2006 · Gday all am looking to buy a family friendly fishing boat around 5m. Found quintrex freedom sport bowrider 510 to be the pick early but quite expensive. Looked today at Stacer 525 easy rider looked ok wondering why it is cheaper than quintrex by heaps? #Is it just the name of quintrex or is there something else i should know?
Feb 18, 2008 · I have owned a 18'6 runabout and it looked almost like a carbon copy of the reef ranger18.Apparently the two vickers bros worked for cruise craft and left to start easyrider.The boat was ok but im not a big fan of being smashed around in a boat in the bay so i got rid of it, most people would have driven to the conditions but i get frustrated and go hard,down the road a bit i got a formula ...
My preference on the day was the Blue Fin Bow rider 525 from Mr Tinnies, particularily liked the quality of the seats. Jan 2, 2008 · I have an Easy Rider 14.5 foot runabout - built 1978 and find it is great for my purposes. They are a pretty basic boat, but quite well made. As outsiderskip said make sure the transom and the floor are OK. I was lucky with mine - they are fine and we have not had a problem with them.
