Memorial service may have as equivalent the word responso. Responso implies there is a minister (whatever religion you are talking about) helding or conducting a memorial service for the dead person.

They may be (in certain contexts) both static and dynamic verbs. "I hate Mondays" - I always hate it. "I am hating every minute of it" - it is a transient emotion only.
