Lebanon (/ ˈ l ɛ b ə n ɒ n,-n ə n / ⓘ LEB-ə-non, -nən; Arabic: لُبْنَان, romanized: Lubnān, local pronunciation: [lɪbˈneːn]), officially the Republic of Lebanon, is a country in the Levant region of West Asia.
