May 23, 2024 · Childcare leave eligibility and entitlement. Eligible working parents of Singapore citizen children are entitled to 6 days of paid childcare leave per year. Parents of non-citizens can get 2 days of childcare leave a year in accordance with the Employment Act.

Should the claim be rejected by the system, please email contactus@profamilyleave.gov.sg and processing officers may request for supporting documents to assess the claim. The supporting documents required will depend on the details of each case.

May 13, 2023 · Employees can take 6 days of Childcare leave a year for 7 years to take care of their Singapore Citizen child. This is a cap on the parent, rather than the child. If the parent has another child, he or she will not be eligible for more childcare leaves under the Child Development Co-Savings Act.
