Principal’s address 2024. Welcome to Queenstown Secondary School! As I embark on my third year at Queenstown Secondary School (QTSS), I continue to be inspired by the deep sense of love that permeates our school community.
Queenstown Secondary School (QTSS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Queenstown, Singapore. QTSS is one of the 28 schools selected by the Ministry of Education to start piloting aspects of Full Subject-Based Banding (Full SBB) from 2020 onwards. [1]

Queenstown Secondary School was founded in 1956 as Queenstown Secondary Technical School, an all-boys technical school. It operated from the premises of Jalan Eunos School. In January 1957, the school moved to its current premises at Strathmore Avenue.
Queenstown Secondary School (former Queenstown Secondary Technical School) is Singapore’s first technical school. The all-boys School was opened in 1956 to answer the “desperate need” for skilled workers as Singapore diversified its entrepot economy in the mid-1950s.
Partnering two active ageing centres in Queenstown, and Queenstown Secondary School (@qtssinstaquest), our students spent a semester researching and executing creative activities to expose the different generations to fresh new perspectives of each other.
