Dan Kamin was born in New York City and grew up in Miami, Florida. After attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh Kamin began touring as a comic mime throughout the U.S. He is the author of "Charlie Chaplin's One-Man Show" (1984, 1991) and "The Comedy of Charlie Chaplin: Artistry in Motion" (2008, 2010).
