Rasoul Sadr Ameli or Rasul Sadrameli (Persian: رسول صدرعاملی; born 1954 in Isfahan) is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, journalist and film producer.
The Managing Director of MILAD FILM (established in 1979, the first company in distribution and production of Iranian films after revolution) began his journalism career while he was just 17, and he collaborated with Etela'at Newspaper as reporter, storywriter and editor of Incident page and then as the Editor of Parliamentary Service.

Sep 1, 2019 · TEHRAN – Rasul Sadr-Ameli, the Iranian director of acclaimed movies “The Girl in Sneakers” and “I’m Taraneh, 15”, is a member of the jury of the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival, which opened on Friday.
Rasul Sadr Ameli is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, journalist, and producer. He is best known for his films such as The House of the Sun (1989), The Blue-Veiled (1995), and The Color of Paradise (1999).
1999’s The Girl in the Sneakers was directed by Rasul Sadr Ameli, a native of Isfahan, Iran, who also directed 2002’s award-winning Man, taraneh, panzdah sal daram (I am Taraneh, I am 15 Years Old) starring Taraneh Alidoosti, the wonderful mischievous bushy-eyebrowed actress I first encountered in Fireworks Wednesday (my review here).
