Sharif Sharifov is a world and Olympic champion at 97 kg, who qualified for the Tokyo Games by winning a silver medal at the 2019 World Championships. He has been competing for Azerbaijan since 2008 and has won medals at four World Championships and three Olympic Games.
A world and Olympic champion at 84kg, Sharif SHARIFOV (AZE) qualified for the Tokyo Games at 97kg by winning a silver medal at the 2019 World Championships. He lost to Abdulrashid SADULAEV (RUS) in the final. He won the gold at the London Games and a bronze medal in the Rio Olympics at 86kg.

Sharif Naidhajavovich Sharifov is a Russian-Azerbaijani male wrestler of Avar descent. Sharifov finished first in the world championship and won bronze in the European championship. He won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he beat Bi Shengfeng and Zbigniew Baranowski before losing to Abdulrashid Sadulaev.
