The Homecoming is a 1973 British-American drama film directed by Peter Hall based on the play of the same name by Harold Pinter. The film was produced by Ely Landau for the American Film Theatre, which presented thirteen film adaptations of plays in the United States from 1973 to 1975.
Synopsis. It's Christmas Eve, early 1930s on Walton's Mountain. As the family prepares for the holiday, they anxiously await Pa's return home from his job in the city some 50 miles away. He is late, and Ma and the grandparents hear on the radio a report of a bus accident that worries them.

Sep 23, 2003 · The Homecoming introduced the Walton family, a 1930s mountain clan living a hardscrabble existence that forces patriarch John Walton (Andrew Duggan) to seek work, far from home, in the city. When John fails to return home, as promised, on Christmas Eve, his iron-willed wife Olivia (Patricia Neal) keeps a lid on their children's worry.
Season 1. Oldest First. Dong Weihong (Li Nanxing) returns to Singapore from the United States with his 9-year-old son after many years. He catches up with his old-time buddies, Chen Hanyuan (Rayson Tan), Lai Guoqiang (Brandon Wong) and Huang Zhenfa (Zheng Geping) to reminisce the past.
