- Seomun Market. To give you a sense of its great age, Seomun Market was one of Korea’s three prime markets towards the end of the Joseon Dynasty. An interesting detail is that, even though the market has grown to many times its original size, the names of the alleys, like Dakjeon and Hongdukkaejeon date back centuries.
- Daegu National Museum. You can take a crash course in the culture and history of Daegu and North Gyeongsan Province at this absorbing museum in Suseong-gu.
