Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore. It provides a unique blend of mainstream academics and life-readiness skills to students aged 7 to 18 years old with autism and related learning disorders.
Unlike most special schools in Singapore, which place a lighter emphasis on academics, Pathlight School uses the same academic curriculum as mainstream primary and secondary schools. An exception is that mother tongue lessons are replaced with classes covering social and life skills. [8]
