Mar 30, 2021 · Barclays won’t be anything in 40 years time with behaviour like this. Having granted many dubious BBLs they are now being deliberately obstructive in bona fide cases. Latest is that for ‘data protection’ reasons they have declined to talk direct to us even when the client has given authorisation. Thanks (0)

Feb 16, 2023 · A couple of us Aweb posters went through the same nonsense with Santander. Once you've got Barclays off your back, report them to the Financial Ombudsman. Cite the waiting times to call them. Point out that the bank refused to agree an appointment time when the call would take place. You will get £200.
Mar 28, 2018 · Banking. Which bank copes best with upload salary files and batch payment for upto 20 suppliers. My company is currently with Barclays but our particular account setup doesn't allow the batch facility. My last company banked with Barclays and batching thankfully was an option!

Sep 30, 2016 · I know the Halifax Rewards are taxable but has any dicision been made about whether shemes like the Barclays Blue Rewards scheme are taxable income or just a reduction in bank charges. With Blue Rewards, contrary to Halifax there was no mention of tax deducted prior to April 2016 and the amount depended on how much you used your account etc but ...
