    • Check Out The Bayfield Farmers’ Market At Clan Gregor Square. Set at the head of Main Street, Clan Gregor Square is the central hub of Bayfield’s small-town community.
    • Visit Local Art Galleries. For being such a small village, Bayfield is home to a great selection of galleries showcasing local art. Start at the Bayfield Art Gallery to begin your tour of the community’s local art scene, then continue your exploration down Main Street at Marten Arts Gallery and Patina Studios & Gallery before ending your journey at the Gallery House/Skwirl Gallery.
    • Tour The Huron Historic Gaol In Goderich. While not technically located in Bayfield, you should definitely plan to make the journey over to Goderich to tour the Huron Historic Gaol — an octagonal prison complex first opened in 1841.
    • Catch a Sunrise. One of the best reasons to make Bayfield your next Ontario weekend getaway destination is so you can rise with the sun! Stay at least one night, and plan to wake a little early and you’ll be treated to a kaleidoscope of colours.
    • Wander the Main Street. Find the heart of the village of Bayfield by wandering the historic Main Street. Bayfield downtown is where you will find all of the unique shops, artisan stores, restaurants and galleries.
    • Shops in Bayfield Ontario. My absolute favourite Bayfield shop is The Village Bookshop. There’s an entire section on local authors from southwestern Ontario, and you might even luck out and find a signed copy.
    • Picnic in Pioneer Park. Relax in Bayfield’s most beautiful Pioneer Park. A privately owned park that overlooks Lake Huron. It’s a large open green space with large shade trees and is the perfect spot to relax and take in the sweeping lake views.
