I downloaded it through Steam using the It Takes Two Friend's Pass button (a friend owns it and we're supposed to play it together). When I first tried to launch the game it asked me to link my Steam Account to the EA app and so I did.
Leanings: It takes two can't be played with only one keyboard of the same computer. At least one controller is needed. Switch pro controllers can in fact be used, they are supported by steam (as well as PS4, 5 and Xbox) - it took for me to find the settings. It takes two is a really cool game.

Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance. Close other running applications on your device. Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates.
Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall. Reset Internet Explorer Settings. I bought It Takes Two from Steam on Jul 26th 2023 and played it no problem on 27th and 28th Jul, then come 29th and today we can't launch it either through Steam or through the EA Launcher. It starts to launch. The play button changes to 'cancel', then 'stop' and then it fails after a couple of seconds. Steam updates to say 'last played today'.
Hi, ever since the latest update I have been unable to play It Takes Two (Steam PC Version). I have bought and had this copy since 2022 and was playing it just fine two weeks ago. However, now I keep getting: "Unable to Connect to the EA Servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again.
I have seen that quite a few others have encountered this issue and have attempted the following fixes: Powering my PC off/on. Updating drivers. Reinstalling the game. Changing my DNS to the Google settings. Releasing/Renewing my IP address. Validating the files on Steam. Launching the game in the EA Launcher.
I have similar problem. I have game pass ultimate on my Xbox Series X. I once was able to download it takes two. Then I deleted and I wanted to download it again. Every time I try to click Install on the game through Game pass app in Xbox it returns to the main game list but doesn't but the game on queue. I don't have Windows to clear cache.
