The city includes the village of Devon and the borough of Woodmont. Milford is part of the South Central Connecticut Planning Region and New York metropolitan area.

There are tennis courts, a small water park/splash pad, picnic areas, a playground, and a small flower garden, so there's something for everyone of all ages.
