There are no worthy museums, no musicians really tour here, no interesting buildings aesthetically or historically, and only a handful of interesting restaurants (mostly cheap pubs and tacky chain places). There is a great cinema though.

  6. The Ranmoor/Endcliffe accommodation is furthest away from the centre, out to the West, but it's only about a 30 minute walk to the Student's Union from Ranmoor or 20 from Endcliffe. Then once you get to the SU, you're within 10 minutes of most of the university buildings including all the libraries.

The walk from ranmoor/endcliffe to the train station is very very long! 45-60 mins, but like the person above said the 120 goes to the interchange (right next to the train station). Couldn’t fault the public transport there, it’s great!

  10. yes it's an undoubtedly good uni, particularly for some of the subjects mentioned above. it's not Cambridge, but then few unis are. Personally, Leeds has an amazing nightlife so I would personally put that first. Check the the Guardian, the Complete and the Sunday Times league tables. Reply 4. 5 years ago. A.
