The city is served by Honiara International Airport and the seaport of Point Cruz, and lies along the Kukum Highway.

Bonegi beach was an extremely fun day out. When I went, I took a taxi as the buses don’t work that far out on a Sunday. They stop at white river. You pay a small fee to use the beach and go snorkeling but it is well worth it as the wreck is amazing.
