Nov 8, 2024 · The movie was showing that the true meaning of Christmas should not be barred from people (especially young children) just because of the way they talk and act, and I find that truly excellent. I recommend for everybody, young or old, Christian or non-Christian, to go see this movie, and show filmmakers that more movies should be made that are like this.

Christian movies have come a LONG way since Bob Jones University tried making them, but as bad as those were, at least they were faithful to the Bible. “Journey to Bethlehem” takes this genre back to BJU days. It is so bad it could only be described as sadly hilarious. What a wasted chance to present the story seriously and accurately!
Nov 24, 2004 · Christmas is supposed to be a time where we share Jesus’ gift of giving by giving to others, and this movie certainly showed that. Although some people found it tasteless that the neighbors were given the cruise tickets, considering that the wife had cancer, I think that it was a great ending.
