Aug 16, 2022 · Using PC parts picker, it would have cost me around $2400 according to them i was to buy these myself and put it together. Aftershock's custom cost me $2500. If you're wondering, it was the Bolt model that they had on sale for the boxing day promo. I am pleasantly suprised at how good this pc is. 1.

And their setup is also very good since they can caters to the latest GPU and CPU. But the problem is the after sales when things break down. U must be prepared to wait for a few weeks to get it fix from the time ur pc breaks down.

The selection from Aftershock seems quite a lot, but you can filter out by determining, 1) If you prefer a small desktop, or are you fine with the normal case size - Smaller is generally more expensive, i.e. the Ultra Compact range. 2) AMD or Intel - AMD is generally better in value.
Nov 15, 2023 · My last two PC were from aftershock, both GPU broke down a bit over 3 years. And the GPU is usually the most expensive component within the PC. It is best you buy from big brands like Dell, Lenovo, HP that can offer more than 3 years of warranty. Unless you are certain, you are willing to buy a new PC after 3 years.
Step 1 - Go to Sim Lim and get price list. Step 2 - Circle the components you want for the PC on the price list. Step 3 - Pass to counter and say want build PC. Wait 2 hrs if you are lucky and assembly fee is $30.

As ive said many times before, aftershock cheaps out on parts and make it seem like they have good prices, but once you actually calculatue using the exact parts the pricing always seems to be 300-400 more than if you bought yourself. They usually cheap out on the motherboard, case, power supply.
Nov 26, 2023 · On the website it says delivery time for custom pcs are 7-10 days but on my receipt it says 15-20, im not sure which to follow but i dont think it should take that long as aftershock is not that far away and wouldnt be that busy to take 10+ days as it is not a hugely popular company. Oct 26, 2022 · Otherwise pc parts are commodities so an aftershock and a Sim Lim PC of same specs will perform the same Oh and probably Sim Lim ones more reliable because Aftershock typically use Zotac and other cheaper brands. Sim Lim one you can choose and even if you spec all gigabyte, all Asus, all MSI, it is usually still cheaper than Aftershock
Apr 19, 2020 · Compared to aftershock, where the entire product is under warranty after purchase, so faulty this and that you can call them, if you have any problems or questions you can call them for advice. I have recommended aftershock to my it noob friends, and one of them had issue with the pc after purchase around 2 years ago (cannot boot).
