The Advanced CEA Estate Agencies System (ACEAS) has replaced the Estate Agencies System (EAS) from 31 July 2021. This is a new licensing and registration system that provides a better user experience for industry stakeholders with enhanced system capabilities, streamlined processes and a more intuitive interface.
Any entity that conducts estate agency work, be it through a real estate salesperson (RES) or a digital platform, is required to apply for an estate agent (EA) licence. The application for a licence shall be submitted by the Key Executive Officer (KEO)-applicant.

Aug 20, 2024 · Under the new regulatory framework, individuals who intend to assume the role of the Key Executive Officer (KEO) of an estate agent are required to possess a pass in the Real Estate Agency (REA) examination, or equivalent.
Individuals who wish to join the industry as a real estate salesperson (RES) must fulfil the prevailing registration criteria, which includes passing the Real Estate Salesperson examination, and approach a licensed estate agent (EA) to submit a RES registration application to CEA.
