Consumers who do not wish to receive telemarketing messages via phone call, SMS or fax, can register their Singapore telephone numbers with the DNC Registry. This applies to home, office and mobile numbers.
You may register your number with one or more of the following 3 Registers : No Voice Call (to opt out of receiving telemarketing calls) No Text Message (to opt out of receiving telemarketing text messages, such as SMS or MMS)
The Do Not Call (DNC) Registry lets you opt out of marketing messages addressed to your Singapore telephone number, such as those which promote or advertise a good or service, allowing you to have more control over the kind of messages you receive on your telephone, mobile phone or fax machine.
If your CorpPass ID has not been granted access to the e-Service, please ask your CorpPass administrator to grant you access to e-Service, Do Not Call Registry, under Personal Data Protection Commision (PDPC).
Checking the Registry. There are three DNC Registers for: No Voice Call Register – for phone calls; No Text Message Register – for texts including Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS); and; No Fax Message Register – for faxes.
The Do Not Call Registry is a national database for subscribers to register their Singapore telephone numbers if they choose not to receive unsolicited telemarketing messages.
